Notes for William Elwin Adams: I am looking for any information on my ancestors. According to family history, my gg grandfather was William Elwin Adams 1837-1904 of York County, his father was John B. Adams 1798-1871 and his father was Robert Adams 1770-1857. I have limited census and cemetary info. Any additonal information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance, Morgan Jackson

William Elwin Adams was my GGF. Two of his granddaughters (my aunts) still live in York County. He was married to Sarah Catherine Holland (b. Nov. 23, 1846, d: March 23, 1913 or 1915.) I have a photo of Sarah Catherine Holland. The Holland line goes back to at least 1745.
Their daughter, Iva Cynthia Adams was my GM. She was born in 1883 and died in 1941. Iva Cynthia Adams was one of two sisters that were married to Samuel Smith. They lived in York, SC.
Their son, Samuel Smith, was my father. He was born in 1919.
