| I am researching the Jurek Family who immigrated from Ticha, Moravia in 1880. The orginal family was Tomas Jurek and Rosalie Rek who came to Ticha in 1811 from the neighboring town of Lichnov, Moravia. Frantisek Jurek was the son of Josef Jurek the first born son of Tomas. Frantisek Jurek married Rosalie Adamcova after she died in 1882 he remarried in 1883 to Apolonia Horak. With his first wife they had 4 boys that lived, Frank, John, Josef, (Mikulas died), and Valentin.
