In her mothers death notice, Alices' address is given as a convent in Wales, England. (Undecipherable.) She later came to SA to take care of her niece, Jean Llod-Wronsley, who was very ill. I think (not yet confirmed, that Alice joimed The Academy in Newcastle, South Africa, after little Jean died. I have a photo of "Sr. Alice Benjamin" with the Academy's name on the reverse.

According to Esme Muller (nee Eden), she was only introduced to her gandfather, Eric Wronsky, when she was 21.Eeric had come to Maude's bedside in hospital, begging her forgivness for abandoning them as children.

Marraige certificate. At the time of Walter and Agnes' wedding, her parents were not too happy about the impending nuptuals. In a letter from her future mother-in-law, Hedwig (Fish Hoek 7 Feb 1927) Agnes is welcomed into the Wronsky family with open arms.

Vivienne was not adopted by the Einkamerer family after being abandoned by her father, Eric, but was taken in by this family and treated as one of their own.
