Ethel Mabel STEVENS (daughter of Jethroe S. STEVENS and Eliza Jane DALTON) was born on 30 Jan 1894 in Watertown Township, Washington County, Ohio. She was involved in an accident on 24 Jun 1928. The Times Recorder (Zanesville newspaper): "SUFFERS FRACTURED ARM CRANKING AUTO. Mrs. James Adams, of Vine Street, was seriously injured about noon Sunday when attempting to crank an automobile. She was removed to Good Samaritan Hospital where it was found she suffered a compound fracture of the lower right arm. Her condition is considered serious, according to the attending surgeon. She was removed to her home Sunday Afternoon." She died on 2 Apr 1947 in 1557 West Main Street Zanesville, Muskingum County, Ohio 43701. She belonged to the West End Wesleyan Methodist Church of Zanesville, Ohio. She was buried in Zanesville, Muskingum County, Ohio in the Woodlawn Cemetery.
