276. Dallas Dowey "Dutch" ADAMS Photo was born on 16 Feb 1903 in Cuba, Jackson County, West Virginia. Dallas Dutch Adams was eight mounts old when his mother died of the fever, she died in October 1903. Dutch took the fever and would have died if not for the medication mixed and administered by as old Pennsyvaina "Dutch" German woman. Hence he was nicknamed Dutch. He lived in Cuba, near Limestone Hill, West Virginia (Jackson County) until he was three years of age. He move to Barnett Ridge (Washington County) Ohio with his oldest sister (Lenora May Adams) and her husband Talmage Barnett. He lived with them for two years before moving to the Cutler, Ohio area. He complete the eighth grade of school at the Dickerson School near Cutler. He had no military service. He died on 29 Oct 1997 in Cutler, Fairfield Township, Washington County, Ohio. He was buried on 1 Nov 1997 in Athens County, Ohio, in the Mount Herman Cemetery.

He was married to Luella Irene JENKINS (daughter of James M. JENKINS II and Margaret "Mag" Lucy THOMPSON) on 31 May 1924 in Wood County, West Virginia. Luella Irene JENKINS was born on 24 Feb 1906 in Stewart, Rome Township, Athens County, Ohio. She was buried in Kilvert Cemetery, Athens County, Kilvert, Ohio. Dallas Dowey "Dutch" ADAMS and Luella Irene JENKINS had the following children:
