Notes for Rachel Barker:
Some researchers list William Bays, Sr. as having married a Rachel Broadwater. Some researchers list Wiliam Bays, Sr. as having married a Rachel Barker. The sources for both are unknown. A marriage to a Bays rather than a Broadwater seems more likely because these families both came from Henry County, VA. However, this marriage is not proved. At the moment, it is based strictly on probability rather than any documentation.
