  Notes for MAURICE "MORRIS" J. BARRY:
-Died at the age of 18 after a short illness.
-Employed at Apothecary hall and later at the drug store of John J. McGreevey.
-Member of the Father Mathew Society
-Was a well known ball player
-Funeral was held Saturday morning at 8:15 at the home at 47 Prospect Street followed by a high mass of requiem at the Church of Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament at 9 o'clock. Burial was in St. Mary's cemetery.

  Notes for ARTHUR J. BARRY JR.:
-Veteran of World War I. Wounded in the ArgonneForest drive near the end of the war.He was in a majority of the big battles of the closing days of the war. "It was while he was leading a batch of men into battle in the Argonne Forest sector that a shell exploded behind him, throwing him into a shellhole and causing one of his knees to be severely wrenched. The local doughboy was in the hosptal for some time as a result of the injury and still walks a little lame."
-Employed by the, M.W. Hayden (1914), was a conductor with the Street Railway (1920-1927), was a chauffeur (1934-1936) and as a checker at the Foster Machine Company.
-Member of the Westfield Aerie of Eagles, American Legion Post 124, World War One Barracks 1556, Veterans of Foreign Wars and the local union of the Foster Machine Company.
-Died at Leeds Hospital, Northampton, Massachusetts. This was the veterans hospital at the time.
-Was last living at 11Chapel Street in Westfield.


6. MICHAEL F.3 BARRY (ELIZABETH2 NAGLE, ARTHUR N.1) was born 1862 in Westfield, Massachusetts, and died 1939 in Westfield, Massachusetts. He married MARY CARNEY, daughter of WILLIAM CARNEY and JULIA O'BRIEN.
