Moore, Finch, Condon, Lydick, Hall, Wilson, McQuain, Law, and McClain, mostly of Belmont, Guernsey, Muskingum, Tuscarawas, and Coshocton counties in Ohio.
Ruley, Selby, Shelton, Benson, Groom(e), Jowles, Doyle, Smith and Steward of early (prior to 1800) Maryland.
Lavender, Sanders, McDaniel, Brady, and Carr of Alabama and Mississippi.
Caygill, Holliday, Brass, Summerhill, Bayley, Galloway, Packer, Richardson, Willis, Dodds, and Dawson of Yorkshire, Wiltshire and Northumberland, England.
Ferguson and McCormick of Scotland.
Out of sheer frustration from trying to track my Moore line in Ohio, I have begun collecting information on ALL Moore families in the area prior to 1900. The approximately 2,500 individuals I have found to date are included in the report "Moore and More Moores". If you find a connection to your Moore line here, please let me hear from you.
