"Barnes " A Family History , Australia and Lancashire.

This history of the Barnes Family starts with the marriage of Henry Barnes to Alice lomax in 1797 and follows Lenord and Hiram Barnes as they made their way to Australia in the 1850's. Lenord was the first to arrive about 1853 and Hiram in 1860. The rest of the family arrived in 1865. They originated from Lancashire in England and then settled in Stawell, Victoria, Australia.
