Jack Strodthoff (son of Henry Barcom and Sarah Ann Johnston) was born 10 Apr 1911 in Winnebago, Wisconsin, and died 27 Feb 1991 in St. Germaine, Wisconsin. He married Irma.
Notes for Jack Strodthoff: Born out of wedlock to Sadie (Sarah Ann) Johnston Barcom in the Winnebago County poor farm and given out to adoption the next day. Sadie was no longer married to Henry Barcom and was 37 years old at this time. Jack was adopted by a Green Lake farmer at birth and lived there for 1 year. For some reason he was taken away by the authorities and placed in a Childrens Home in Milwaukee, WI until he was 2 1/2 years old, at which time he was adopted by the Strodthoff's. In later years Jack was diabetic and had circulatory problems and macular degeneration to the point of being blind the last few years of his life. These things were told by Jack Strodthoff's wife Irma in May of 1996--Thomas L. Barcom.
