I am currently researching my family on my father's side - that is, the THEARS. I know that a large number of THEARs lived in SAWBRIDGEWORTH in Hertfordshire, England in the 1800's. I have also found reference to Mary Thear, who gave birth to a son, James Skaggs on board a ship to Virginia. I would love to know if this Mary is of the same family. I would like to hear from anyone who has THEARs in their family tree, and would be willing to share information.
