This Elizabeth was originally believed to be a child of Polly Conway, but the dates make this an impossibility.

Previous to comparing my notes with those of Mia Fleegel, I showed a marriage for Evaline to William Perry Smith, born 1835, with the following children: Henry, Mary, Eliza, and Joseph. There were already numerous problems with dates in this particular Smith family, and for that reason, I decided to disconnect the marriage and enter Mia's information.

The 1830 census of Pendleton County, KY lists a Joseph Dauherty as head of household containing 3 males 0-5 years of age, 3 males 5-10 years of age, 1 male 10-15 (believed to be the Joseph Daugherty who was 34 years in the 1850 census and father of James, then 10 years old); and 1 male 30-40 years. Females: 2 10-15 years and 1 30-40 years.

Note that Schreck genealogy gives a marriage of a Nancy Daugherty to Owen Oldham in 1851.

I have Owen Oldham married to Nancy Daugherty, daughter of James and (...Green) Daugherty, and hesitate to complicate an already confusing family by having Owen marry two women named Nancy Daugherty.

Phyllis Willette reports that the Pendleton County, KY General Index to Marriages actually does show two separate marriages:

10 Apr 1851 - Owen Oldham and Nancy M. Daugherty
2 Jan 1884 - Owen O. Oldham and Nancy Daughtery.

It seem to be safe to assume that these are two different Nancys and most likely two different Owens as well.

25. MARGARET3 CONWAY (JESSE2, JOHN1) was born 1790 in Kentucky, and died Abt. 1844 in Scott Co, IL. She married GEORGE ARMSTRONG Bef. 1810. He was born Abt. 1790, and died Feb 1860 in Scott Co, IL; age 80.

Notes for GEORGE ARMSTRONG:
George and Margaret (Conway) Armstrong appear in 1810 on the Census of Muhlenberg County, KY with one son under 10. They moved to Madison County, IL about the same time as Margaret's father, Jessie.

Records of Canteen Creek Baptist Church near Troy, Illinois show that George and wife Margaret were received by letter in 1819 and were dismissed in 1836 when they moved to what is now Scott County, IL.

In the 1820 (Ridge Prairie Twp 84/14) and 1830 census for Madison County, IL, they were living very close to Jesse Conway. They were still in Madison County in 1840.

George Armstrong's estate was settled in 1865.

There was an Elizabeth Armstrong who married James Askins 27 Jan 1829 in Madison County, IL. It is not known if or how she may connect with George.
