|
Notes for LUTHER RICHARD DUKES: Luther Dukes held the office of Boise County assessor in 1915. Ed Kutz records a death year of 1926 as does Shirley McCreath. |
| ii. | LAURA DUKES, b. 1877, Missouri; d. Bef. 1912. |
|
Notes for LAURA DUKES: Under her notes on Hattie (but perhaps apply to Laura), Shirley McCreath says, "Mom told me that her Sister Lolly had some kind of childhood disease. I think it was whooping cough and that Lolly stayed with Aunt Lou. I think Lolly was about 9 years old. Lolly lived until 9 years old. Aunt Lou lived to be I think 97. The cemetery records do not support this, but several variances have been found in the records as they compare to the family's records. Since "Lolly" is just now introduced, I wonder if perhaps Shirley is confusing Hattie with Laura, which seems a more apt name for the nickname, "Lolly," but Shirley does include these notes in information with Hattie. |
| iii. | ANDREW SHERARD DUKES, b. 15 Feb 1880, "Pat" b. Jefferson Co, KS; d. 1948, Council, ID. |

Shirley McCreath sends this middle name as well, so I have inserted it instead of the "S." we previously had. It is Shirley who adds the death date, burial location, and nickname. |

Shirley gives his complete birth and death dates as well as burial location and birth location. She says that he came to Idaho at the age of 18 months. Shirley also gives the information about the marriage. According to "An Index to Early Pioneers/Settlers in Valley County, Idaho, 1870-1920" by Wesley W. Robert Lee Dukes was staying at a Soldiers Home in 1954, presumed to be at Boise, Idaho. |
