According to e-mail from Matt Luoma (mrldelaware@email.msn.com), a descendant of Jacob Edwards and Sarah Boydstun, "Lazenie" is the middle name of Jacob Edwards, and his mother is supposed to be Evie Lazenie.

The name, in one form or another appears in several places in the Boydstun family, as a middle name. No proof has been found of anyone bearing the name as a surname.
