Notes for M
OSES BOYDSTON:
The will of Nathaniel Boydston, dated 15 Jan 1847, says, "...I give and bequeath to the heirs of my son Moses twenty dollars to be paid to him two years after my death." The verbage suggests that Moses could still be alive, since it appears Nathaniel intends the money be given "him" rather than his actual heirs.

The records of J. T. McCarron, provided to Ruth Walton by Wylie A. Brooks, gives the names of Moses' children.

Children of M
OSES BOYDSTON are:
  i.   WILLIAM8 BOYDSTON, b. Unknown.
ii.   JOHN W. BOYDSTON, b. Unknown; d. Unknown.
  Notes for JOHN W. BOYDSTON:
Note that considerable confusion exists about this John W. and John William, both the sons of different men named Moses Boydston. Through various sources, I had both Johns married to Eliza Town(s), but have, in the end, decided that John, son of Moses and Rachel, was the one who married Eliza.

LIZABETH BOYDSTON:
Much of the information on this family is obtained from Anna O'Heron, a descendant, but is supplemented with information from both Ruth Walton and Wiley Brooks.

Her obituary, dated 26 Mar 1880 says, "Elizabeth Boydston McDaniel died at dusk on 14 Mar. She was in her 68th year of age. Death came at the residence of her son-in-law, Dr. Daniel Graham Lutes. Her funeral was preached on the 15th by Rev. Thomas Hurst, of Ridgely, Mo. Buried in the family cemetery in the midst of a large congregation of relatives and friends..."
