The next chart deals with some famous relatives through the Cary family. Several members of the Cary family immigrated to what was to become the USA in the mid-17th century. One of these, Miles Cary (a first cousin of Cary Elwes' ancestor, Shershaw Cary), was the ancestor of many famous Virginians, including a governor of Virginia, a governor of Kentucky, and two Presidents of the USA, as seen in this next chart.
