Census 1830 for Stark County, Paris Township, Ohio (page 187):
Valentine Ochs was head of the household. In the household were 4 males and 4 females. This census doesn’t list their names, only what their ages were.

It shows 2 males who are over 5 and under 10;
1 male over 10 and under 15 (this must be John); and
1 male over 40 and under 50 (this must be Valentine).

Females--1 under 5; 1 over 5 and under 10; 1 over 10 and under 15; and 1 over 40 and under 50 (Valentine's wife).

Book "1835 Tax Duplicates" Call#977.1 P512 Ohio: Valentine Ox (sic) owned
property in Stark County, Paris Township. This has to be him, I’m sure. (There
were no Ochs’ but the index had for "Ocks" see Ox).

Book "Ohio Wills and Estates to 1850" Call#977.1 B433 page 268:
"Ox, Valentine, Estate -1839, Stark County, case #767, Old Series book,
page 44."

	5	iv.	Nicholas Ochs, born Abt 1824.
	6	v.	Mary Elizabeth Ochs, born Abt 1825. She married John Adam Renji May 21, 1846 in Stark County, Ohio.
