2. WILLIAM ALEXANDER3 TABOR (SHIPMAN *2, ?1) was born October 22, 1846 in Carroll Co., Arkansas, and died December 29, 1929 in Burkette, Coleman Co., TX. He married SUSAN ANN SAGE March 06, 1870 in Dallas, Dallas Co., Texas, daughter of DANIEL SAGE and JANE DYE.

Notes for WILLIAM ALEXANDER TABOR:
On June 1, 1880, William A. lived in Johnson Co., TX with his wife and 5 children. Also enumerated with them was a sister-in-law, Dela F. Sage. William was 33 years old and worked as a farmer. The family lived in District # 82 and the enumerator was T. F. Haley.
On June 23, 1900, William A. was in Coleman Co., TX, living in precinct 5, with his wife and 5 children. The sister-in-law was no longer enumerated with the family. William was age 54 at the time of the census.
In 1920, W. A. and wife were enumerated in Clay Co., TX with Jennie F. Tabor Jones and family.
