1. Isaac¹ Yates was born Bef. 1860 in Arkansas (Source: 1910 Prairie Co., AR census, ?Williams Township.), and died Abt. 1929 in Vicksburg, MS (Source: letter from Leona Padgett, April 1997.). He married Rebecca Adams Abt. 1880 in unknown.

Notes for Isaac Yates:
Information recieved from Mrs. Leona Padgett, Isaac's granddaughter, is that Issac died in 1928/29 in Vicksburg, Warren Co., MS while she and her mother lived with him. Leona also stated that Isaac was a fisherman and wore a coon skin cap all the time. Research continues as to who was Leona's mother, Bertie or Gertie.
In 1910, Isaac and children were living in Prairie Co., AR. Isaac;s wife, Becky, was not listed on the census leaving me to believe she had died by this time.

Notes for Fred (Ferdinand) Yates:
Information recieved from Maudie Tabor and Bessie Kirkley is that Fred lived in the DeWitt, Arkansas Co., AR area for a while. Maudie and Bessie are unsure of how many children Fred had, either 2 or 3 girls and one boy. Research continues!

+	3	ii.		William Benjamin Yates, born February 16, 1891 in Oil Trough, Independence Co., Arkansas; died November 26, 1967 in Clarendon, Monroe Co., Arkansas.
	4	iii.		Kate Yates, born Abt. 1897 in AR (Source: 1910 Prairie Co., AR census, ?Williams Township.); died Abt. 1964 in Prob St. Francis Co., AR. She married ? Morgan.

Notes for Kate Yates:
The last known information about Kate was recieved from Leona Padgett. Leona states that Kate lived between Forrest City and Jonesboro, AR and married a man named Morgan.

Gertie Yates, born 1904-1906 in Arkansas (Source: 1910 Prairie Co., AR census, ?Williams Township.); died 1984 in Prob St. Francis Co., AR. She married Jimmy Parrish.

Notes for Gertie Yates:
Information recieved from Maudie Tabor and Bessie Kirkley is that the last they knew of Gertie was that she was living in the Forrest City, AR area.

Bertie Yates, born Abt. 1906 in Arkansas (Source: 1910 Prairie Co., AR census, ?Williams Township.); died Abt. 1974 in Prob Arkansas. She married Nephars Posey.
