Barrrington, Diggs, Hewett, Koke, Schwab Intersecton

Updated September 5, 2008

My father's family came over from Germany in the 1800's. His father's name was Koke. He was orphaned and adopted by the Figge family. (Photo of my father F. H. J. Figge and his father John H. Figge below.) My father's mother's maiden name was Schwab (see photo below of Maria Barbara Schwab), and her mother's name was Heinlein.

In my mother[Rosalie Mary Yerkes (Figge)]'s family, her mother(Myrtle Grace Harris-photo)'s mother's family is documented in the "Sir Elias Hicks (1315), Captain John Ward (1598), John Wright (1500), Philip le Yonge(1295) and 7812 Descendants" publ. 1982. There are photos below of my grandmother's father [Samuel Rogers Harris] and her mother [Rosalie Melissa Hicks (Harris)] and two grandmothers [Isabella Jane Crews (Hicks)] and [Annie Eliza Rogers (Harris)].

My mother's father, Dawson Martin Yerkes (photo below with me), is the the "Chronicle of the Yerkes Family" publ. 1904. Photos are below of D. M. Yerkes's father [Martin Van Buren Yerkes] and mother [Mary Jane DuBree (Yerkes)] and his grandfather [Hiram Yerkes] and grandmother [Anna Lewis (Yerkes)]. I have very little information on the DuBree family so I have included also a photo of Mary Jane's sister Anna DuBree (Hunter) and her family. Some of those pictured are unidentified.

I'd like some more information on my husband's grandmother Florence Diggs (Beasley). Her mother was Isobel or Isobella Barrington (Diggs) whose grandfather was Beverly Barrington. (Portraits of Mrs. Beverly Barrington, and John and Catherine Baker Barrrington [Isobel's parents] are below).

Florence (photo below with Ann E. Johnston Beasley - my husband's mother) married Hewett Anderson Beasley [photo], the son of William Fessenden Beasley [photo] and Mary Sidney Hewett (Beasley). Mary Sidney Hewett's father was Robert Carson Hewett[newpaper obituary drawing] a physician from KY and his father was John M. Hewett.

Florence Diggs's son (my father-in-law -photo below) was Robert Hewett Beasley. The Beasley family tree is documented on the website http://familytreemaker.genealogy.com/users/b/o/y/Kenneth--Boyd/GENE1-0011.html?Welcome=1032193707

My mother-in-laws parents were James Edgar Johnston and Lelia L. Whitehurst. Her information is listed as John Hewett InterneTree. (can't figure out how to retitle it)

I would appreciate additional information on any of these lines.
