My family has been in Ulster sice late 1500 / early 1600. A lot of research was done by my great uncle John W Beck in the early part of the last century . He produced a large number of family trees having researched the subjects well . This formed the basis for two small booklets and articles in the genealogical magazines . All of his material is now in the Public Records Office of NI and I have been atttempting to put this on computer .

There are some discrepencies in his research and there have been questions as to whether in the 1600s alll the family members were recorded or recorded acuurately . Perhaps some of the questions may never be answered , but I am trying to update the information as best possible .

We have connections with the linen trade , farming , the professions and the armed forces , and also relatives in Denmark and the USA . Already from the FTM discs I have obtained a family tree for my great uncle in USA , so I am hopeful .
