Westmoreland County Courthouse records show only a few administrative notations and a Return of Personal Property to his widow, Maria Mathias Beck, which follows the notes. The statement gives values for some household furnishings in 1909. Notations: "No. 88 of 1909. Est. of Leonard Beck, Late of Penn Township. Deed. Tax ___paid, $5.75. 2 March 1909. Petition proof and cease and declination filed and ___ of Administration granted to Lyman Kintigh [Leonard's son-in-law], who was duly sworn. Same day bond of Admin. in 300 with H. Albert Lauffer and John F. McWilliams, no sureties filed. Decedent died 22 Feb. 1909 at 2. 5 Mar, 1909, Inv. and Appr. filed."
