In the name of God Amen I Henry Baughman of North Huntingdon Township, Westmoreland County & Commonwealth of Pennsylvania being very weak in body but of perfect mind and memory, thanks be given unto God, [and] calling unto mind the mortality of my body and knowing that it is appointed for all men once to die, do make & ordain this my last will and testament, that is to say principally & first of all I give & recommend my Soul into the hand [of] Almighty God that gave it & my body I recommend to the earth to be buried in decent christian burial at the discretion of my Executors, nothing doubting but at the general resurrection I shall receive the same again by the mighty power of God and as touching such worldly estate demise and dispose of the same in the following manner and form.
*First I give and bequeath to Catharine, my dearly beloved wife, the sum of three hundred dollars of lawfull (sic) money of Pennsylvania to be raised and levied out of my estate together with my household goods debts & moveable effects during her life and what shall remain after her decease shall be equally divided among my four Daughters to wit first Margaret now the wife of Peter Straw for her own use and support during her life and what shall remain after her decease the said Margaret shall be equally divided among her three Sisters hereafter mentioned their heirs or assigns forever.
*As to my son John, he being already very well provided for & in good circumstances, I give unto him the sum of two dollars.
*As to my Son Adam, he being already very well provided for and in good circumstances, I give unto him the sum of two dollars.
*As to my Son Peter, he being very well provided for and in good circumstances, I give unto him the sum of two dollars.
*Also I give and bequeath to my beloved Daughter Mary, now the wife of Peter Straw, the sum of two hundred and sixty eight dollars to be paid by my Son Adam, in gales as his notes will be called for after my decease, to her the said Margaret if she comes in need but not otherwise & further if any part of [her] share shall remain after her decease it shall be equally divided among her three other Sisters or their heirs and no other.
*Also I give to my well beloved Daughter Barbara, now the wife of Michael Isaman (sic), the sum of two hundred and sixty eight dollars to be paid by my son Adam, in gales as her notes shall call for after my decease, to her, the said Barbara, her heirs or assigns.
*Also I give my well beloved Daughter Sara, now the wife of Adam Leonhart (sic), the sum of two hundred & sixty eight dollars to be paid by my son Adam, in gales as his notes shall call for after my decease, to her, the said Sarah, her heirs and assigns, all the money within & above mentioned in goods and lawfull (sic) currency of Pennsylvania to be paid by my Executors or Administrators to the several heirs within & above mentioned.
*And I do hereby ordain and appoint Adam Baughman, my son, & Peter Baughman, my Son, the Executors of this my last will & testament I do hereby utterly disallow, revock (sic) and disanul (sic) all and every other testaments, wills, legacies, bequests & executors by me in any wise before named, willed and bequeathed. Ratifying and confirming this and no other to be my last will & testament. In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this fifth day of October in the year of Our Lord one thousand eight hundred & fourteen.

Signed, sealed, published and declared by the said Henry Baughman as his last will and testament in presents (sic) of us John Peter Miller, Peter Rauck [Rugh] Jacob Smith.
Westmoreland County S.S. Before me, the Register in & for said County, personally came John Peter Miller, Peter Rauch (sic) & Jacob Smith the subscribing witnesses to the within will (Page 397) and on their solemn oath deposeth & sayeth that they were present and saw Henry Baughman, who is now deceased, sign, seal, publish & pronounce & declare that the with[in] instrument of writing was his last will and testament & that at the time of his so doing he was of sound disposing mind and memory that they signed in his presents (sic) and at his request & that the signatures of these deponants is in their own proper handwriting. Sworn and subscribed before me this eighteenth day of May 1816.
