This medal and citation were awarded to my father, Lt. Col. Robert A. Ramsay, Jr., on Dec. 23, 1946 by the National Government, Republic of China. The citation to the right, for "meritorious services," is signed by President Chiang Chung-Cheng (Chiang Kai-shek).
