Disclaimer Notes

While researching this genealogy report, several things came to light. Written records in England prior to 1600 are sketchy at best. Most were written in Latin, difficult to read and hard to translate. It also appears that many records are missing due to many factors. Time, conditions, natural disasters and wars have played a part in the disappearance of, or the destruction of, many of these records.
Also, it appears that there were two men named Thomas Stubbs who both married women by the name of Mary Minor. It was recently discovered that over the years, researchers have combined these two families into one. Of course, both families had children. These children were combined into one happy family. Now researchers are doing the near impossible. Seperating these two families so that the correct genealogical information can reported.
This is ongoing at the time of this writing. Therefore, I feel that I must include this information, so that allowances can be made.
Please remember that any and all information from the first generation up to and including the information on Thomas Stubbs and Mary Minor are as accurate as could be determined at the time of this writing, but they are also open to scrutiny until all information pertaining to them and others can be positively documented.

I have included this information because I believe, as do other researchers, that it could end up there, but it may be possible that it will be by a different set of descendants. As discoveries are made and documented, adjustments will be made to this report to accurately reflect the findings.
