| Our Beckett family records begin with John Beckett who was married in Queen Anne's Parish, Prince George Co. Maryland on November 17, 1724 to Anne Drayne. John and Anne had at least one child, Richard who was born on December 29, 1729 in Maryland and died in Montgomery Co. Virginia in Nov. or Dec. 1803.Richard's wife was named Susannah. They had 12 children the 4th of which was John, born August 29, 1766. John married Anne Becklesimer on December 17, 1788 and they had 5 children. Their son Samuel (3/9/1794 - 6/27/1880 moved to Clermont Co., Ohio where he married Amy Fitzpatrick. They had 6 children. Their third son, Benjamin (Oct. 1828-Jan. 1917 was my Great Grandfather.My sister, Frances J.
