The Samuel ("Zeesee") Oxman Family Page

I am researching the family of Samuel Oxman ("Zeesee", "Ziesel"), my grandfather. He arrived at Ellis Island from Odessa, Russia, in 1903, probably accompanied by a stepson named --Hirschfield, the son of his 2nd wife, Rose ("Razelle"). Rose and Zeesee had two children born in Russia: William (Wolf, later called "Bill") and Ruth. William, my father, was born in Lechovitz, Belarus, in 1900. Rose, the two children, plus Max Oxman(the latter her husband's by a former marriage) arrived at Ellis Island from the Odessa in 1911. The family settled in Malden, MA. Zeesee and Rose had another child in America: Hyman Eugene Oxman, born ard. 1914. Cousins and other relatives are in the Boston area, NC, MI, Chicago, FL, DC, and California.
