Notes for Michael Archer:
Was on his way to join Captain William Harrod on a scouting party, when he was ambushed on Fishing Creek in 1787. Captain Harrod's men later recovered his body, which was badly scratched and many bones broken, while in his hands he clutched hair taken from the heads of his attackers.
