Notes for PETER BRAKEBILL, JR:
Peter served his country in the War of 1812 having been drafted to the militia on September 29, 1814. He was discharged on May 18, 1815 as a 3rd Sergeant in Captain David McKamey's Company of Colonel William Johnsons 3rd Regiment.He moved to Murray County, Ga about 1847 where he lived and operated a farm for the remainder of his life.

Thomas and Emeline were living in Smith Co., TN when the 1850 census was taken- There are no children listed on the census-Thomas was a farmer
