North Carolina, and died 1863 in Paririe, Fanklin Co. Arkanssas.. He married IRENE FEWELL October 15, 1835 in Habersham, Co., daughter of EDMOND FEWELL and SARAH FEUELL:. She was born January 08, 1815 in Cow Pens Spartingburg South Carolina,, and died February 18, 1903 in Paririe Franklin Co. Arkansas.

wife and eight children. When Gordon Co. Was formed in 1852, he was living in Gordon Co.; The history of Gordon co. GA. listed him as being the first Foreman of Grand Jury. Third Co. Ordinary, J. PEACE. and Judge of Gordon, Co. GA.

1860 Census Mausell, Polaski Co. Arkansas;
Alexander left Georgia in 1856 after last daughter was born, His sister Josephine Stroup age 27, went With them to Arkansas. as far as I know Josephine never married. Don't know anything about Josephine.

1900 Census Prairie, Franklin Co. Arkansas.
Irene Stroup is 85, widowed since 1862, Living with Widowed daughter Mary Jane Springfield, she has only two children living . Boys died while serving in the Civil War.
