These families first came to Linn co. Iowa starting in 1883, 1885, 1890 and later. They came from what is now know as the Czech Republic. The tree includes present day cousins who live in the Czech Republic. Thomas Christian Young was born in Montgomery county New York in 1822 and arrived in Linn County Iowas in 1854 after living in Indiana for 14 yrs prior. The cemetery in Palo, Iowa contain many graves of him and his immediate descendants. I look forward to sharing information with those who can connect to anyone of the trees appearing at this site. Yes I have much more information than is shown. I do not show birth dates of the living out of respect for their privacy
