"THE PATTERSON'S OF WEST FARMS"
HOWELL TOWNSHIP, MONMOUTH COUNTY, NEW JERSEY

JOSEPH R. PATTERSON dob 1752 and MARY SUTTON dob 1755 lived in West Farms, Howell Township, Monmouth Co., New Jersey in 1777. They had seven [7] known children as follows: Jeannette, Phoebe, William I. [of further mention], Willimpee, Leria, Isaac S. and Sarah.

WILLIAM ISAAC PATTERSON - Was born on June 4, 1781 in West Farms and died May 24, 1849, at aged 67.11.20 yrs. He is buried at Bethesda Methodist Cemetary in Adelphia, Howell Township, Monmouth County, N.J.

WILLIAM I. married ESTHER "LIPPINCOTT" [parentage unknown] on January 15, 1804. Esther was Born in 1782 and died on February 17, 1853 at the age of 71.0.18 yrs. Esther is buried at Bethesda Methodist with her husband.

WILLIAM I. PATTERSON and ESTHER LIPPINCOTT have eight [8]known children as follows: Elizabeth, Mary S., William L., Daniel, Sarah, Ann L?, Ancelletta, Isaac B, and George L. [of further mention here]

GEORGE LIPPINCOTT PATTERSON of West Farms, Howell Township, Monmouth County, N.J. DOB: April 17, 1822, Died: January 17, 1907 in Farmingdale, Howell Township, Monmouth County, N.J.

GEORGE married first, JOANNA B. HALL on January 26, 1843. Joanna was born in 1824 and died on April 18, 1870. Both are buried at: Bethesda Methodist Cemetary, Adelphia, Monmouth Cty, N.J. George married his 2nd wife MARY A. NEISBEIT. Mary was born in 1835 and died on July 6 1912. They are all buried together, a wife on either side.

GEORGE and JOANNA have five [5] known children as follows: Mulford D. [of further mention here], Mary, William I., Gertrude, and Samuel A.

MULFORD D. PATTERSON married first, MARY A.PARKER and second, SARAH ANGELINE ELMER and had three [3] children with her. The children of MULFORD and SARAH are as follows: William I, [of further mention here], George and Owen.

WILLIAM I. PATTERSON married ELIZABETH EMMONS, daughter of Charles and Phoeby, granddaughter of Corlies D. Emmons [... to be continued]
