I am in search of my great grandmother's relatives from Detroit, Michigan. Her name: Mary Broomfield-Vernon born around (May 1894 and passed May 30, 1973), she lived in St. Louis, Missouri. The story told to me as a child is Mary was 1/2 Native American from what tribe? She was 4'11 or 5'0 in height and had a temper of fire no one dared full with her. Her husband: Hober Vernon born around (1895-1897). Mary gave birth to their son: Vernon Carl Jenkins birth (1941) V. C. passed I am told on his way to see the first grandchild in Masschuettes. Cousins lived in Michigan, but no one has been in contact with them.

My Great Grandparents William and Lila were married in De Soto, Mississippi on March 10, 1891.
