listed with a Bridget 20 years old, Mary 6, and Ellen 2, All born in Ireland except Ellen. I don't know if these are my people. I probably will never know. It's just another part of the puzzle. Who is Thomas Butler 2 months old,1871 census Town of Gode rich, Huron Co. living with Michael Moran?

My family?

It's a starting place, maybe.
In the index to the 1871 census there are two entries for the name Bridget Butler of an age close to that for my Bridget Butler in Colborne township in 1861. one in Hamilton and one in Cornwall. The Bridget Butler in Hamilton was a 40 year old widow living with a Nickerson family. There was no children. The Bridget Butler in Cornwall was a 45 year old widow, born in Ireland, Roman Catholic, living with 15 year old son Thomas and 13 year old daughter Anne.
