This church was originaly named Upton's Creek Baptist Church and was located on Upton's Creek on part of land owned by John Bentley Sr., son of William Bentley II. This picture is from the front of a booklet given out by the church on it's 200 year anniversary. Inside, the book gives a yearly history of the church compiled by Hazel Bentley Eubanks. Hazel was kind enough to give me a copy of this booklet.
