This is a close up image of names from the 1880 census of Clarke County Alabama. It is from page 194 and 195, Webbs Mill Beat, Woods Bluff P. O., taken August 10, 1870. The name Joseph Williamson is new to me, but Hannah and her son, William are known. Hannah Williams-Williamson was my great, great, great grandmother. Her son William was later known as William Caves. The daughter name Ella Williams/Williamson, was never known to me either. From the looks of it on the census page, they squeezed the end of her name in there. She may have been Mary Ella, or Ella Mary Williams, and changed it altogether, once they came back to the Coffeeville area. This is only speculation. If anyone know any different, please email me to let me know.
