This is a close up iamge of the name Hurd, and others, from a page of the 1920 census of Clarke County Alabama. It is from sheet number 12a, E. D. 19, Jackson precinct, taken January 27-28, 1920. I do not know if the names are Gus Hurd, his wife Helen/Ellen, and a Gus Jr. or what. If it is Gus Hurd, then he was Martha Williams younger brother. I also saw a Gus Heard, in Mobile County, about the same age as this name on this census page. If anyone know who these names really are, please email me.
