I am doing research in the Counties of Clarke, Choctaw, Wilcox and Mobile Alabama. I have met the most beautiful people online, searching in some of the same areas. These people, whether we are blood, in-laws, or what have you, are my family. We have all helped one another some kind of way. I would just like to mention them on this webpage. They are Latricia Rose-Davis,(my oldest and dearest gen. buddy and cousin who have a wealth of family information, including old photos, a huge obituary collection, marriage records and other helpful documents), Lois my online Angel (Leeadan), Angie Melecio (my new found cousin who helped with the Kiel family name), Renee Allen (my new found cousin who helped me so much with clerifying correct and incorrect family information, along with helping me with the Bumpers and Kiel family name), Willei King,(she is searching for the Barrax/Barracks family, and gave additional information about the Todd family), Edward Pugh (he had the most knowledge of anyone I can think of, about the Bumpers, Todd and Pugh family), Cynthia Singleton,(she is also searching for the Fox family, and had a wealth of information on the Taylor family, along with other family names), Jacqueline Jones, Frank Oliver (my cousin who added a lot of family names, that I would not have known about), Maieta Howze (has names that fit right into family names that I had from other online cousins), Leathea Eaton (she gave me so much information on the McReynolds family name, including more than 1600 family names that she sent me, in a family reunion booklet. Her older brother Owen is due a lot of credit for a large portion of those names, as well as other family members I have yet to meet.), Sonja, Renai, Kari and Shawn Dorrough, one of my cousins who gave my much needed information on the Singleton line. I'd also like to add Carol Carter, who sent me additional information on the Watson, Dunagan, Hawkins and all family members, from Alliance, Ohio Starke County. She helped my family in so many ways, we can not thank her enough. We all are searching for most of our last names. To add a few more, they would be, Todd, Law, Bumpers, Coats/Coates, Kiel/Keil/Keel, Fluker, Cox, Benjamin, McReynolds, Brown, Jenkins, Tinsley, Reese (someone who know how the Singletons and Reese families are related), Harris, Thompson, Harper, Dale, McBride, Gwin/Gwinn, Hightower/Hytower, Howze/Houze, Campbell, Graham, Taylor, Johnson, Alston/Austin, Beckham, Caves, Williams, Hurd, Koen, Kemp, Bryant, Thornton, Chapman, Oliver, Osborne, Hall (some are from Leak County, Mississippi, and some are from Plateau,in Mobile County Alabama), Stallworth, Jackson, Daw/Dawe/Daws/Dawes, Goode, McConnico, McCracken, Malone, Hawkins (from Alliance, Ohio), Watson (from Alliance, Ohio), Newberry, Dunagan, Turner, Washam and Calhoun, to name a few. Some of these families moved to Denver, Colorado, Chicago, Illinois, New York, Detroit, and other places in the North and East. Some also moved to Florida, with a lot of them living in Pensacola. Others made their way west of Alabama, to Mississippi, Texas and California. These are the people we are searching for. I am also looking for family from Hope, Arkansas, in Hempsted County. These names would be Powell, Bostic, Adair and Wise. If your name is Austin/Alston, and you live in the Chicago area, and you know these names from Arkansas, please email or post a message. For the family from Alabama, we are in need of some information about the Lindsey family, who may have owned Sarah, Hannah William, their children, and other family members. We are in search of the name of the plantation, or home of the Lindsey family, as well as the location. Also any information about the Beckham and Pugh families who owned slaves in the Coffeeville area. Most of our families listed, were from Coffeeville, with a majority of them living in the Ebenezer Community, Winn, Toddtown, Salipta, Jackson, Grove Hill, Gainstown and Walker Spirngs, Alabama.
