BAGGETTs of NC & TX

Updated March 18, 2008

The BAGGETT family descends from Nicholas Baggett d 1755 Bertie Co. NC. They settled in Robeson Co. NC & have descendants in GA, TX, OK & many other states.
The WATSON family's earliest identified ancestor is John T., b 1806 KY, probably related to Evan Thomas Watson of Warren & Madison Co. KY (Coleman Watson signed John T.'s TX land document). I am searching for John T.'s wife & ancestors.
The SHEPARD family is first identified in VA, then Wilkes Co. GA before 1790, lived Abbeville Dist. SC & Elbert Co. GA, then spread to KY, AL, AR, TX etc. I am trying to identify the ancestors of John Shepard (d 1806 Elbert Co. GA).
The JORDAN earliest identified ancestor is Charles of Henry Co. GA (1830) & Talladega Co. AL (d there 1845). I am trying to tie him & wife Elizabeth A. LOCKETT to their parents.

If you would like to make corrections, or to obtain a a ged file, additional information, or pictures (I have hundreds and am always looking for more), I'd love to hear from you.
