In 1898 George Benson and wife Jessie left Walnut Ridge, Arkansas with the John M. and Mary F Warren Buster family and other family Members in Covered wagons going to Oklahoma to homestead land. Several children made the trip and walked behind the wagons most of the way. When they arrived three weeks later, all the land had already been taken. They did stay and farm the next year near Pauls Valley, Oklahoma. While they were there or perhaps on their way back home, Clinton Lafayette Benson was born to George and Jessie Benson and Rose Minerva Buster was born to the Buster's............The foregoing contributed by Bobby Buster Jones.
