Bennett Information

I am furthering my Mother's research into our family history. She has spent years compiling records by hand, and I am now trying to computerize them for her and our future. We have many other surnames in our line including Douglas, Mims, Waters, Branch, Riggins, Green, Tanner, and Westberry to name a few. These are mainly from Georgia, the Carolinas, and Virginia - where I believe they started in the US. I am particularly interested in the (Blackwater) Bennett's that inhabited Isle of Wight, VA, and am looking for evidence (other than Boddie) to tie them into the line. There are over 15,000 names in my database - some of your's may be in there, too. I will gladly share any information that may help, and would love any in return.
