I am researching the SZCZEPANIAK/STEPANIAK family from Wyandotte, Wayne County, Michigan and originally from Posnan, German occupied Poland. There are three known siblings: Walenty SZCZEPANIAK and his two sisters Marcella POPRAWSKI and Mary STEFFIN KURZAWA/KUZAVA MICHALAK/MAHALAK (she had 3 husbands). And two other possible brothers Peter and Thomas SZCZEPANIAK. All arrived to the United States between 1868 and 1870 and immediately settled in Michigan.

Descendants of both Walenty and Victoria Szczepaniak/Stepaniak and his sister Maryanna Szczepaniak Steffin Kurzawa/Kuzava Michalak/Mahalak attended. Also close cousins of the Kasprzyk family attended.
