The name Casteel refers to her sister Anna Maria Klinefelter Casteel age 21 and Lorenzo Harrison Casteel (brother in law)  Have not looked into the lawsuit. They lived in Putnam Co. OH

	Dear Parents
It is with the greatest of pleasure I take my pen in hand to write a few lines to you we are tolerable well at present the children are just recovering from the Measles we have been looking for a letter from you for a long time but all in vain I am very ancious to hear from you all I wrote a letter to you just after I arrived home , and one to Father Walterses, we received one from Walters stating he had received the letter I had written for you and I suppose you received the letter I intended for him I made the mistake in mailing them
Father Walters said he would send that letter to you and your please send the one you got to them, direct, Moses Walters Bellville Richland Co. Ohio and oblige me I was very sorry, I made such a mistake Aunts are all well we are having a beautifull winter hear we had one week very cold with that exeption very pleasant indeed I am ancious to hear what kind of weather you are having and if you have had any rain or is it as dry as when I was thair I wrote a letter to Rebecca and Susanna and one to Sarah, a few weeks ago, James I want to know how you and Eliza and the boy are getting along, and what you namaed the boy, I suppose he can almost sit alone buy this time I will now five you a list of the market prices corn 30 cts mSpring wheat 50 fall wheat 80 oats 22 butter 25 eggs 20 coffee 25 sugar 12 1/2 to 16 pork 5 cts on foot Walters sold twelve head average weight 3.05 have 12 yet to kill for our selves and 50 head for the spring marked and 50 little pigs for another year, we have fifty head of cattle steers cows and calves eith head of horses colts and mules, every thing is very low hear and mey scarcer than it has been for a long time  Sherry says telll grand Pa and grand Ma he would like to see them and take another ride with them, Mother please write when you receive this for I do want to hear from you all from you r Affectionate Daughter
