| We are beginning research on the Benedict and Pennock ancestors, who mostly resided in the in Michigan- Barry county, Hastings area.Addison Charles Benedict seems an important link which we are lacking information on. We know he came from New York in the est. 1860-1870. His son Harold lived and died in Hastings in the early 1900-1930. His son Stuart (my Dad) still lives at Gun Lake just west of Hastings.We will be uploading as much info as we have to as many sites as we are able, including the Barry County GenWeb site.(http://www.rootsweb.com/-mibarry). We also are researching Pennock ancestors, who also resided in the same area (Nashville/Hastings). Grandfather Ray Pennock was chief of police in Nashville many years back. Our tree starts with Samuel Pennock (Mary Wilson,wife) of Yorkshire, England 1678-1762.
