certificate, Lathan lists his age as 20; however, he was 18. One of the
witnesses is a J.P. Franklin who is believed to be Philmore Franklin,
first husband of Ellen Melissa Williams. Ellen and Martha were sisters,
therefore, Philmore would have been Lathan's brother-in-law.
