Hello. I am originally from Berlin, NH, and am a second generation Bergeron in the USA. My paternal grandparents moved from St Herménégilde de Barford, Stanstead County, Québec shortly after their marriage in 1925. My other 3 lines are from Mégantic County (via the Lauzon coast), Kamouraska County, and St Maurice, all in Québec Province. Like many Québec families did during that time, my ancestors moved south of the border for work in the mills of New England. In this case, it was the paper mills of Berlin that attracted many.
The major surnames in the reports below are: Bergeron, Lemieux, Rivard, Dubé, Fortin, St Pierre, Vachon, Miville-Deschenes, and many more. There is also some royalty in my bloodlines. Charlemange, Emperor of the West is my 34th Great Grandfather. There are also several French Kings and Nobles in the line as well. Other "cousins" of note are Madonna, Celine Dion, and many others you may have heard of, and some you have not heard of, including myself.
