Sandra's:Wogberg, Swanson, Erickson, Moody, Dragon (all Swedish).
Especially mysterious to us are the Bertrands and Wilkins.
We have found that Clarence Wilkins lived in Camden, New Jersey in 1880 and in 1900, and in Philadelphia in 1910. His wife's name was Emma Reed, and they had one daughter and three sons.Vivian (b. 1879), Harold (b. 1881), Edgar (b. 1884), and Leslie (b. 1894).
William Bertrand was born in West Virginia in late 1879 or 1880. He married Vivian Wilkins in 1906, and the marriage license stated that he was from East Liverpool, Ohio.Their first son was born in or near Atlanta, GA in 1907, and their second son was born in 1909 in Spokane, WA.On his birth certificate, William's birthplace was listed as West Virginia.
William and Vivian were actors before they headed west, and at least for a short time, worked on the Mississippi paddle-wheelers.
P.S.Unrelated, but does anyone know who the Mississippi paddle wheeler "BERTRAND" was named after?
