      Peaceful be thy silent slumber,
      Peaceful in thy grave so low,
      Thou no more wilt join our number;
      Thou no more our songs shalt know,
      Dearest mother! thou hast left us;
      Here thy loss we deeply feel,
      But 'tis God that hath bereft us,
      He can our our sorrows heal.
      Yet again we hope to meet her,
      When the day of life is fled;
      Then in Heaven with joy to greet her,
      Where no farewell tear is shed.

      Funeral services were held at the St. Mary's church, Thursday, July 10th, at 9:00 o'clock, conducted by the pastor, Rev. Burkhiser. Interment was made in St. Mary's cemetery at Rosemount.
