e-mail from Freda Hill Wright dated Fri., 12 Jul 2002 17:32:17 EDT Re: thomas hill gave the following information:
"...William Parks Hill had a son named Archer M. born 1861 and died 1909. Archer married a Mary Jane Hill who was born 1872 in Lawrence Co., Ala., Her parents were Thomas Wesley Hill, born 1846, and Mary Moran. His father was Thomas Hill born 1824 from Tenn. He married a Elizabeth Tuttle Danials. I bet these 2 sets of Hills are related somehow. Archer Hill had a son named Floyd James Hill born 1895 in Lawrence Co., Ala. who married Adelia Gillespie in 1920. Their son Lovis Wayne Hill is my Father who was born in 1930. My name is Freda, I was born in 1951. .."

Thankyou so much for all you have done for me. I have been on vacation an
just got back last nite. The children of Arch Hill and Mary Jane were Addie
born 1891 - Mary Alice born 1889, - Floyd James born 1895 - William
Lawton born 1900, - Luther 1897, Archie Norton 1902, Lawrence Elmer born
1893, - Myrtle born 1906 and Hazel Odean 1908. Luther, Archie, and Myrtle
all died at age 14. Mary Jane Hills father was Thomas Wesley Hill born about
1846 and his father was Thomas Hill born in Tennessee about 1824. Her husband
Arch Hill was born about 1860. His father was William Parks Hill born 1831.
William Married Elizabeth Prater. Of course you know that the father of
William Parks is Anderson Hill. This side of the family moved to Lawrence
Co., Alabama. My father still lives there in Alabama. His name is Lovis Wayne
Hill. Somehow I think both Hill sides will connect way back when. Anderson
Hills children had matching names to some of Greenberrys children and
grandchildren. Like William, Lucinda, Sarah, Mary, Francis, Nancy and John.
That is why I think somehow Greenberry and Anderson are related. well I will
get off for the night and hope to hear from you soon. Let me know what you
think and lets hope the lady finds the document. The book she has from
Anderson grandaughter sounds great. Does it tell father of Anderson or
Grandfather?
Goodnite,
Freda
