DREW "ERIC" SQUIER (b. May 07, 1975, d. March 04, 1997)
Notes for DREW "ERIC" SQUIER:Eric was a 1993 graduate of Logansport High School and 1996 graduate of PDI Truck Driving School.He lived with his mother at 927 Jackson St, Logansport, IN, and died at 4:35pm in a traffic accident between a semi-truck he was driving for Zeck Trucking, Kokomo, IN, and an automobile making a sudden left turn ahead of him at an intersection with MO 60, a narrow 2-lane highway in Van Buren, MO.He turned into a ditch and deep ravine rather than rear-end a car driven by a lady which would have caused a terrible multi-car accident. The truck and flat-bed trailer loaded with bundles of railroad ties turned over and he was killed instantly.His uncle, the Rev William Beswick of Pontiac Illinois Presbyterian Church, officiated at the service conducted at
McCloskey-Hamilton-Gundrum Funeral Home in Logansport.
